Hours of Collection – In Person at the Town Hall
JANUARY Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5 PM – 7 PM
FEBRUARY Wednesday and Thursday 5 PM – 7 PM
MARCH Wednesday 5 PM – 7 PM
ADDITIONAL HOURS OF IN PERSON COLLECTION AT THE TOWN HALL:
January 31st – 9am to 11am
February 28th – 10am to Noon
March 31st – 5pm to 7pm
No unpaid taxes accepted after March 31, 2026.

You are now able to make payments online using a credit card as follows:
Residents can pay through the Steuben County Website at www.steubencountyny.gov/285/Finance
or
Call 888-877-0450 (Press 1 for English, then press 2 for local government) The live person will ask for your state and county. Make sure to tell them to pay a Current Tax, and, you will need to provide to them the tax map # from the upper corner of your bill.
(Takes 48 Hours to Process, and on the next day, The Tax Collector in the Town gets the report to process on our end)
NEW POST OFFICE DATE LAWS: (If paying last minute) You must go in to the post office to have it stamped with the date processed, or it will be returned for the proper amount plus the penalty due at the time received, not the date you dropped it in the mailbox. This must be a US Postal Service postmark.
**All money must be exact, cannot be rounded up, or down. That includes when you are paying penalties. Please refer to your bill. **
